Camping Rules

1.) Check-in is between the hours of 1pm-8pm, and check-out is at 11am. Alternate check in times may be requested, contact the office for details. 

2.) Quiet hours are from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

3.) Fires are permitted only in designated fire pits.

4.) Please maintain a safe speed limit of 5 mph when traveling anywhere within the campground.

5.) Golf carts and other forms of motorized recreational vehicles are not permitted for nightly guests. E-bikes and scooters are permitted but you must maintain a safe speed limit of 5 mph at all times and operate in a safe respectful manner. Use of recreational equipment (e.g., bicycles, Scooters,e-bikes, ect.) is at your own risk. Sunset Springs is not responsible in any way for any injuries or accidents that may result from use of any recreational equipment used on campground premises. Safety gear is strongly recommended.  Note: Golf carts are not permitted for nightly campers due to insurance risks.

6.) The swimming pond is “swim at your own risk” as there are no lifeguards on duty. Swimming hours are 8am-9pm.  Absolutely no swimming after dark. Children under the age of 14 must be supervised by an adult at all times. Use of recreational equipment (Pond floats and tubes) is at your own risk. Sunset Springs is not responsible in any way for any injuries or accidents that may result from use of any recreational equipment used on campground premises. Safety gear is strongly recommended. 

7.) Please clean up after yourself and dispose of trash in the provided receptacles.

8.) Pets are allowed, but owners must follow Health Department guidelines. Pets must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet at all times. Clean up after your pet and dispose of waste properly. Excessive barking is not appreciated by others, so please be respectful. Pets are not allowed in certain areas, such as playgrounds and swimming areas. If you wish to take your dog on a walk around the grounds, an adult of 18 years or older must be present. Check campground signage for specific restrictions.

9.) Please be courteous and respectful of your neighbors. Only walk on roadways or designated trails, do not cut through anyone’s campsite. No loud music or bright lights outside during quiet hours. Drug use, intoxication, lewd behavior, state of undress, profanity, threatening or vulgar language or immoral conduct will not be tolerated at any time and will be grounds for immediate removal without refunds.                                        

10.) To maintain a healthy and family-friendly environment, we have established the following smoking policy: Smoking is strictly prohibited in all public areas, including playgrounds, picnic shelters, swimming areas, and within 20 feet of any building or campsite occupied by other guests. All smoking materials must be properly extinguished and disposed of in the provided receptacles. Do not litter or discard smoking materials on the ground or in campfires. Smoking inside cabins, restrooms, or any other enclosed facility is strictly prohibited. Guests are responsible for ensuring their smoking does not disturb or negatively impact others. Violation of this policy may result in a warning, fines, or removal from the campground without a refund. 

11.) Prohibited Activities: Fireworks are strictly prohibited. Debris can cause damage to neighboring  trailers, awnings, and rooftops. Underage drinking and illegal drug use are strictly prohibited. Alcohol-related games or activities that encourage excessive drinking (e.g., beer pong) are not allowed. Operating motorized vehicles, including golf carts and other forms of motorized transportation, under the influence of alcohol is strictly prohibited. 

Alcohol Policy

At Sunset Springs Camp, we strive to maintain a safe, family-friendly environment where all guests can enjoy their time in nature. As such, we have established the following alcohol policy to ensure that all visitors are respectful of others and adhere to guidelines that promote safety and enjoyment for everyone.

Age Restrictions: Only individuals 21 years of age or older are permitted to consume alcohol within the campground.  Valid ID must be shown upon request for verification of age.

Consumption Areas: Alcohol may only be consumed at designated campsites, RV sites, and picnic areas.  Alcohol consumption is prohibited in public areas such as roads, trails, playgrounds, and any facility where children or families may gather.  Alcohol is not permitted in or around the swimming areas, bathhouses, or other recreational facilities.

Behavior Expectations: All guests consuming alcohol must do so in a responsible manner.  Excessive drinking, disorderly conduct, and disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. Anyone exhibiting unruly behavior will be asked to leave the campground immediately without refund. Noise levels must be kept to a minimum, particularly during quiet hours (typically from 10 PM to 7 AM).

Glass Containers: Glass containers (bottles, jars, etc.) are prohibited for safety reasons. Please use cans, plastic bottles, or other non-glass alternatives.

Alcohol Sales and Distribution: Alcohol may not be sold, distributed, or traded within the campground without explicit prior written permission from campground management.

Respect for Fellow Campers: Guests are expected to respect the comfort and privacy of other campers. If you are consuming alcohol, be considerate of those around you and ensure your actions do not disturb others.

Legal Compliance: All guests must comply with local, state, and federal laws regarding alcohol consumption.Sunset Springs Camp reserves the right to confiscate any alcohol or require individuals to leave the premises if they are found in violation of the policy.

Enforcement: This alcohol policy will be enforced by campground staff. Failure to comply with these rules may result in expulsion from the campground without refund.
